Customer Service Excellence: Identify and cater to the service needs of customers at check-in, transfer desks, special services, and boarding gates, ensuring all procedures are adhered to and service levels are maintained.
Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth boarding operations by adhering to internal procedures, including boarding priorities, announcements, baggage removal, and staff briefings. Conduct post-flight duties like flight coupon reconciliation and headcount confirmation.
Team Guidance: Guide and support team members to maintain superior customer service standards and assist in ensuring the safe and timely departure of flights.
Baggage Management: Oversee the arrival of bags in the baggage hall, prioritize premium bags, assist customers with missing or damaged baggage, and follow up on missing bags for premium customers.
Queue Monitoring: Monitor check-in queues, giving priority to premium customers, and handle any excess baggage or visa issues that may arise.
Communication and Problem Solving: Keep customers informed of any delays, disruptions, or denied boardings and assist in implementing the ‘Options’ scheme.
Documentation and Reporting: Assist in the preparation and completion of pre and post-flight documentation, including all relevant station statistics and filing.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety instructions are followed at all times, report any damage to aircraft or equipment, and prepare relevant reports.
Supervisory Coverage: Cover for the absence of the check-in supervisor, prepare flight briefs, and ensure all staff and service providers are fully aware of relevant customer information.
Operational Support: Support all areas of airport operations as required, including check-in, boarding, ramp, lounge, and other areas.
Decision Making: Make day-to-day decisions affecting operations in line with local procedures.
Health and Safety: Adhere to all relevant health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
