The Security Threat and Risk Specialist will lead security risk assessments, recommend mitigation strategies, investigate incidents, and collaborate on crisis plans. | Responsibilities | ||
| Prepare comprehensive data-driven security risk assessments. – Recommend and implement effective mitigation strategies. – Liaise with authorities and outstation staff to investigate incidents. – Review outstation security audit reports and determine residual risk profiles. – Perform site visits to high-risk stations. – Collaborate with Emirates departments to create contingency plans. – Provide guidance based on Group Security’s assessments. – Assume responsibilities of the Threat and Risk Assessment Manager in their absence. | ||
| Qualifications & Experience | ||
| Bachelor’s Degree or Honours with 5+ years’ experience in Security/Safety/Risk Assessment/Intelligence. – Understanding of aviation security principles, regulations, and best practices. – Expertise in developing and maintaining Security or Safety Management Systems. – Experience in conducting detailed security or safety risk assessments. – Ability to analyse vulnerabilities and assess risks objectively. – Knowledge of geo-political developments and regional conflicts. – Proficient in data analysis, report writing, and effective communication. | ||
