Job Purpose Monitor, check and supervise daily operations of Production, Materials & Tooling areas to support EEMC Production with spares, tools, and services. Review documents for regulatory compliance.
Job Outline
Provide Leadership
Provide leadership and supervision to Production support staff to achieve daily and projected operational targets safely and in compliance with regulations.
Communicate
Communicate with maintenance customers, attend production meetings, and address queries to meet service level agreements and identify improvement opportunities.
Ensure Compliance
Ensure team compliance with departmental SOPs and Engineering Procedure Manual. Develop SOPs/instructions as needed for policy/procedure compliance.
Generate Reports
Generate daily reports on shift performance, task accomplishment, and KPIs. Investigate deviations and discuss corrective actions with management.
Safety and Environment
Create a safe working environment, lead with safety behaviors, report non-conformances, and provide support and direction to ensure compliance with safety policies.
Material Planning
Coordinate with Supervisors
Coordinate with workshop supervisors to track progress and completion dates of work.
Update Material Planning
Coordinate with Materials Planning on updates for shortages under PO, RO, and WO to meet preload kitting dates.
Follow-up on Operations Issues
Follow up on issues raised during Daily Operations Meetings to minimize production schedule impact.
Warehouse & Logistics
Supervise Material Accumulation
Supervise material accumulation to meet engine demand fulfillment and review shipped item repairs.
Monitor Inventory
Monitor EEMC inventory for expired items and publish quarterly and monthly forecasts.
Material Inspection
Certify Airworthiness
Issue Serviceable Part Labels and certify airworthiness of received tools and materials based on inspections.
Manage Discrepancies
Initiate stock discrepancy processes for non-compliant spares/tools and administer archiving of airworthiness certificates.
Tooling Support
Control Tooling
Supervise control of engine maintenance tools and equipment, manage periodic maintenance, and control internal and external repair orders.
Marshalling/Accumulation
Ensure Technical Kitting
Ensure accurate kitting and readiness for engines/modules build, ensuring compliance with part requirements.
Review Certification Paperwork
Ensure proper certification paperwork maintenance throughout kitting process.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience
Engineering Mechanical: 3+ Years
Education
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
Knowledge/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence. Proficient in MRO operations, tooling control, ERP systems, and aviation regulations. Excellent drafting/report writing skills.
