| Hospital Maintenance Responsibilities | Maintaining extensive heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. – Operating boilers, incinerator, laundry equipment, lift, dumbwaiters, air-conditioning equipment, diesel engines, turbines, pumps, condensers, generators, and compressors. – Start-up, regulate, shut down, or repair equipment. – Operating equipment manually, making adjustments, and checking safety devices. – Ensuring efficient and safe operation of all systems. – Routine maintenance: replacing filters, lubricating moving parts, and checking air quality of ventilation systems.1 | |
