  • Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise all airport operations on a shift basis, including passenger check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and aircraft preparation. Ensure strict adherence to all arrival and departure checklists, brand requirements, and company policies.
  • Safety & Security Management: Take charge of safety and security protocols, ensuring compliance with both local regulations and company standards. Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement measures to mitigate them effectively. Monitor compliance and report any safety incidents promptly.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that every passenger receives exceptional service, particularly VIPs, PRMs (Passengers with Reduced Mobility), and other special category guests. Plan and coordinate special services to meet their unique needs, ensuring a seamless and pleasant travel experience.
  • Operational Disruption Handling: Collaborate closely with Guest Control, Network Control, and the SOC (Systems Operations Control) to manage any operational disruptions. Take proactive steps to minimize the impact on guest services and maintain the operational integrity of the airport.
  • Emergency Response & Preparedness: Lead the execution and regular rehearsal of the station’s emergency response plan. Be prepared to handle situations such as delays, diversions, and other operational disruptions, ensuring that all team members are ready to respond effectively.
  • On-Time Performance: Take ownership of on-time performance during your shift. Coordinate all activities to ensure flights depart on schedule. When delays occur, accurately report the reasons, implement corrective actions, and follow up on any necessary improvements.
  • Ancillary Sales Promotion: Promote airport ancillary services and products, ensuring compliance with sales processes and targets. Monitor performance and report on sales achievements regularly.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all arrival and departure documentation is accurate and submitted in compliance with local authority requirements. Keep meticulous records of all operations to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Team Supervision & Development: Lead, motivate, and supervise the airport operations team, including service providers, to achieve optimal performance. Provide guidance, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure ongoing training and development to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Background: A-level or equivalent is required; a degree in aviation, hospitality, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years in a supervisory role within the service, hospitality, airline, or retail industry is required. Experience in a high-pressure, multicultural environment is essential.
  • Aviation Knowledge: In-depth understanding of aviation, airport operations, and travel industry regulations is crucial. Previous experience in an airport environment is highly preferred.
