Deliver High-Quality Training: Provide ATPL ground school training to ab-initio cadets in a safe, respectful, and multicultural environment. Ensure all instruction meets GCAA, EASA, and Emirates standards, covering subjects such as air law, meteorology, flight planning, and human performance.
Monitor Cadet Progress: Regularly evaluate cadet proficiency and performance, generating accurate reports to identify areas for improvement and ensuring that all students meet required standards.
Develop and Enhance Training Methods: Research and recommend new teaching methods and materials to further improve the quality of instruction and learning. Contribute to the creation and modification of lessons, training materials, and instructional models.
Provide Continuous Student Support: Monitor, support, and assist cadets throughout their training, offering guidance and mentorship both within and outside the classroom. Ensure cadets have the resources they need to succeed.
Maintain Accurate Records: Complete all relevant administration and theoretical knowledge training records in a timely and accurate manner, including examination planning and documentation.
Collaborate with Flight School Team: Actively support the integration of ground school and flight school training by interacting with flight school instructors to enhance the overall cadet experience.
Exemplify Professional Conduct: Serve as a role model to cadets by demonstrating professionalism and disciplined behavior at all times. Promote a culture of respect, safety, and continuous learning.
Support Additional Training Initiatives: Deliver other ground school-related training initiatives as directed by the Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (CTKI). Participate in continuous professional development to remain current with regulatory changes and teaching best practices.
Adapt to Modern Teaching Methods: Embrace paperless teaching methods and integrate technology into the classroom to improve instructional efficiency and effectiveness.
Education: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
Experience
At least 8 years in external airport operations.
3+ years as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) delivering ATPL subjects based on the EASA or UAE GCAA syllabus.
Experience in delivering at least 3 different ATPL TK subjects in an approved training organization (ATO).
Expertise in at least 1 ATPL TK subject.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with airline flight operations, gained through pilot, flight engineer, dispatcher, or flight navigator experience.
Strong understanding of regulatory rules and guidelines (EASA or GCAA preferred).
